I thought this was funny. Maybe not so good for Lydia though.. it may get lost in the moat of tampons she’s always surrounded with.

Has everyone else seen this? And if yes, why didn’t anyone show me?!

Our dear friend Tobias posted his updated portfolio recently and I found this gem:

My Swedish bud Kim tells me the translation is similar to, “Everyday I’m conducting shady business.”

Mom (& Dad) Day

Been thinking lately about how lucky I am to have not-so-traditional Chinese parents. My mom probably thinks she was a bit of a Tiger Mom, raising me like a nerd.. but actually her and dad have always been very supportive of everything from taking (and quitting) piano lessons, to playing rugby, to moving to Shanghai & dating a non-Chinese boy called Brian. They worked really hard in order to give the three of us happy childhoods. They trusted that we would be smart with our decisions—we never had anything like a curfew or rules about homework. They let us move and study where we wanted to and even paid for our art school tuition.

Mom often tried to explain to me when I was being young and stubborn that they did certain things because they only wanted the best for us. I get it now, that I have the best parents I could’ve ever hoped for.

Here are some old photos of my mom, looking pretty hip:

Thanks mom & dad for being hilarious, loving nerds and always giving us the best of everything.
